A life at Lahmeyer – German Halcour retires from Lahmeyer Deutschland’s management team

German Halcour

Effective from 1 January 2018, German Halcour, having turned 65, resigned from his post as spokesman of the management at Lahmeyer Deutschland and retired from the management. For the time being, he will stay with the company as a consultant. German Halcour’s tasks will be taken over by Michael Bergmann, Managing Director at the office in Berlin, and Michael Lebsanft, Managing Director at the office in Bad Vilbel.more

New subsidiary in the Sultanate of Oman

On 12 December 2017, the newly established subsidiary Lahmeyer and Tractebel Engineering Consultancy LLC in the Sultanate of Oman hosted an inauguration event for its opening. The Joint Venture with the Al-Sulaimi Group will strengthen the local positioning of Tractebel.more

Lahmeyer Rhein-Main and Lahmeyer Berlin merge into Lahmeyer Deutschland

With effect from 24 April 2017, Lahmeyer Berlin GmbH merged with Lahmeyer Rhein-Main GmbH. The new company Lahmeyer Deutschland GmbH has its headquarters in Bad Vilbel, but will continue its business from the existing two locations in Berlin and Bad Vilbel. Apart from spokesman German Halcour, the management of the new company includes Michael Lebsanft from Bad Vilbel and Michael Bergmann from Berlin. more

As of 1 May 2016, Michael Stephan assumes both positions of Commercial Director of Lahmeyer International GmbH and of CFO of the Lahmeyer Group. Up to now, he was CFO of ENGIE Deutschland AG. Michael Stephan succeeds Markus Auer who leaves the company at his own request and changes to a consulting company also operating on an international scale.more

Lahmeyer Hydroprojekt acquires Spezialbau Engineering GmbH in Magdeburg, Germany

Lahmeyer Hydroprojekt, headquartered in Weimar in Germany, acquired 100 % of the Magdeburg-based Spezialbau Engineering GmbH. The acquisition of Spezialbau Engineering took place on March 2016 with commercial effect on January 1st, 2016. With this acquisition, Lahmeyer expands further its expertise in the fields of civil engineering and waterways. more
