Rural Electrification Project of Tete Districts
The objective of the project is to promote overall economic development in the region. Adequate sup-ply of electricity is expected to support the growth of local industries, promote local trade and em-ployment opportunities as well as social welfare for the population in the area through electrification of health and educational facilities.
The project will supply power to Magoé, Tsangano, Zumbo, Manje, Chifunde, Furancungo e Fingoe in Tete Province.

  • about 20 distribution transformer stations 33/0.4/0.23 kV
  • Extension of EDM’s telecommunication facilities to the project areas
