Project Management Melamchi Water Supply, Nepal
The Water Supply System of Kathmandu, the Capital of Nepal, will be reinforced through abstraction of Raw-Water of the Melamchi-River. Therefore 2 sub-projects have to be implemented: a 27 km long water canal with an intake and a drinking water treatment plant. Lahmeyer International is responsible to support the client with the project management: contract management, time scheduling and cost monitoring. The project will run for 5 years and is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
