On 1st of January 2010, Lahmeyer International GmbH has founded Lahmeyer International USA Corp (LI-USA), with its principal seat of the company in Washington D.C. LI-USA has been established to perform the consultancy services of Lahmeyer International group in the North American market, with particular focus on the renewable energy market, which is expected to grow substantially in the coming years both in US as in Canada.

By this means, Lahmeyer International groups continues to expand its already ongoing successful business in the North American market, continuing current project activities in wind, photovoltaic and biomass and expanding it also to other projects and RE technologies.
