With effect from 24 April 2017, Lahmeyer Berlin GmbH merged with Lahmeyer Rhein-Main GmbH. The new company Lahmeyer Deutschland GmbH has its headquarters in Bad Vilbel, but will continue its business from the existing two locations in Berlin and Bad Vilbel. Apart from spokesman German Halcour, the management of the new company includes Michael Lebsanft from Bad Vilbel and Michael Bergmann from Berlin.

Lahmeyer Deutschland carries out project management as well as technical and economic consulting services for projects throughout Germany in the fields of building construction, industrial construction, transportation infrastructure, and energy infrastructure. In 2016, the two company locations, Bad Vilbel and Berlin, generated a turnover of 5 million Euros with a total of 55 employees.

Due to the similar performance portfolios and comparable tasks, both companies have worked closely together for years, particularly in client acquisition. The projects have so far been processed separately. With the founding of Lahmeyer Deutschland, these activities are placed under joint management. This will simplify the processes within the company, increase synergy effects, and reduce efforts and costs. The competencies will be bundled in the future; a joint pool of civil engineers, architects, and business engineers will be engaged in the realisation of projects. As a result, the projects can be implemented even more precisely and efficiently. At the same time, flexibility in dealing with tenders and requests for proposals will be increased.

Secure Safety by Growth
Growth is the goal of the entrepreneurial activities of the Lahmeyer Group. The company size and existing references are decisive for success with respect to both public and private sector procurement. The merger of the two regional companies into Lahmeyer Deutschland will further improve the success of the German-wide business. In the medium term, expansion is striving to further increase market opportunities and secure the future of the company.
