The protection of your personal data throughout the entire application process is very important to us and we want you to feel secure when visiting our website. In the following, we will explain which information we record during your application process and how this is used.

1. Personal data

When you visit our website, for the purpose of system security our web servers automatically and temporarily store the connection data of your computer, the web pages that you visit, the date and duration of the visit, the recognition data of the browser and type of operating system used, as well as the website from which you are visiting us. Any further personal details such as your name, your address, your telephone number or email address are not recorded unless these details are entered by you as part of the application process.

3. Usage and forwarding of personal data

We exclusively use the personal data you provide to fulfil your wishes and requirements, i.e. to process your application.
Your personal data are only used as part of the application process within Lahmeyer International GmbH. In the event of suitable vacancies, your data are sent to our subsidiaries worldwide.

4. Use of cookies

When you visit our website, so-called temporary cookies are used to ease the navigation. These session cookies are erased by closing the session. You can configure your internet browser to block all cookies or to inform you if cookies are stored. By doing so, it might happen that single pages or parts of pages can not be used by you or only in a limited way.

5. Security

All necessary technical and organisational security measures have been taken by us to protect your personal data from loss and abuse. Thus your data are stored in a secure operating environment that is not accessible to the public. In certain cases, your personal data are encrypted during the transmission by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This means that the communication between your computer and our servers takes place using a recognised encryption procedure if your browser supports SSL.
If you wish to contact us by email outside of the applicant management system, we would like to point out that we cannot guarantee the confidentiality of the transmitted information. The content of emails can be viewed by third parties.

6. Right to information

By written request, we will inform you of any personal data we may have stored on you.

Statistical information

In order to appropriately accomodate our website to the request of users, we use the web analytics tool „Webalizer“. This tool collects statistical information on the number of visits, duration of visits and user activity. During your visit on our website, the following data are recorded:

  • IP address
  • date and time
  • requested file name
  • method of request
  • site from which the file was requested (referrer)
  • type of browser used.

The data are consolidated with the data of all visitors on our website via the web analytical tool for statistical purposes only. By doing so it is impossible to infer to you as individual person. The data recorded during your visit will be deleted after 2 years. The generated information shall be used exclusively for internal purposes and remains at Lahmeyer International GmbH.
