Detailed Feasibility Studies and Engineering Design for Implemention of Geothermal Energy Utilisation Resources
The National Action Plan on Climate Change, adopted in 2000 and the Environment Review of the World Bank, completed and approved by the Government of Bulgaria, include provisions to increase the share of renewable energy resources in the total energy production of the country.
The Government of Bulgaria has secured a Grant from the Japanese Trust Fund for Climate Change Initiatives, managed by the IBRD, towards the cost of studies Sustainable Use of Geothermal Resources in Bulgaria.
