Gangwon Wind Farm Project
This very large project Gangwon Wind Farm started with a complete feasibilitiy study from February 2001 to September 2001. The Gangwon Wind Farm is by now the largest wind farm implemented in Korea and East Asia.
Lahmeyer International (LI) has been involved in the project from the early development stage as owner’s engineer, co-developer and shareholder. The complete wind farm with all three phases achieved substantial completion in October 2006 fully in accordance with the contractual timeline.
LI is offering supervisory services for the first two years of operation and maintenance.
